Karl R. Fuchs, age 85, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away on November 7, 2020, surrounded by family. Karl is the beloved husband of Rowena Fuchs; Loving Pops of Beverly Fuchs, Randy Fuchs, Douglas Fuchs, and Karla Lee (Steven); Cherished grandpa of Shelby Scicluna (Tyler), Shaun Lee (Lydia), and Ryan Lee; Treasured great-grandpa of Cole Scicluna.
Karl met Rowena in 1954 they were married eight months later. They had four children. He worked from 1955 to 1961 at the bud company where he earned his apprenticeship.
From 1962 to 1980 he worked at LTV missile plant. From 1980 to 1999 he worked at general motors where he then retired. He never turned down overtime he worked weekends and holidays not because he had to because he wanted to provide the best of the best for his family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 2-8 PM with a memory sharing service at 7 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. An instate will follow on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 10 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 12509 19 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Interment to take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Karl’s honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
