Katherine Jo Sabo, age 72, returned to our Father on May 18, 2021. Overcoming a lifetime of challenges, she became a librarian, editor of a music journal, and a paralegal. She loved her family, friends and cats. The last five years of her life, she resided at Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility where she loved and was loved by fellow residents and staff. She is survived by her brother Joseph Sabo and his wife Lani (Grandy) Sabo; Her niece Kristen (Sabo) DesJardin and her husband Patrick and their son Benjamin; Her nephew David Sabo and his wife Dr. Kia Lilly and their children Henry and Lillian; and her nephew Michael Sabo and his daughter Paige Sabo-Dolich.
An instate will take place on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 9:30 AM, until time of funeral mass at 10 AM, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 883 Capac Road, Allenton, MI 48002. Interment will follow at West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton.
