Lawrence Allen Prososki, April 22, 1945 to April 27, 2021, a very proud Vietnam War era U.S. Air Force Veteran and VA Hospital Volunteer extraordinaire. Larry recently received recognition for his 15,000+ volunteer hours helping Veterans hospitalized at the Battle Creek, Detroit and Ann Arbor VA Medical Centers. He organized patient trips to Detroit Tiger and Piston games, dinner boat trips on the Detroit River, many patient trips to Golden Coral, Old Country Buffet and Ponderosa. Larry loved vintage automobiles. He loved his family and his many friends, all of whom will miss their Larry.
Lawrence was the dear son of the late Charles and the late Mary Ann Prososki. The cherished brother of Charles (Veronica) Prososki, Gary (Patricia) Prososki, and Carla (the late Edward) Kettlewell. He was the beloved uncle of Charlie Prososki, Gary Prososki Jr., Edward Kettlewell, Tila Broadway, Terry Traylor, Kelly Prososki, Christie Prososki, and Mary Yenglin. He is also survived by numerous family members and close friends.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A private funeral service will take place.
