NICHOLS, Lois V., of Clinton Twp., passed away on February 11, 2017 at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Oather M. Nichols; adored mother of Betty (the late Wofford) Young; treasured grandmother of Tracey (William) Henderson and David (Janeen) Young; cherished great-grandmother of Courtney, Joshua, Megan, and Madison; proud great-great grandmother of Marilyn. Lois was born in Blythesville, AK to the late William and Blanche Owens. She was involved with her church, enjoyed socializing, reading, and Elvis Presley. Lois was most proud of her family, especially her great-great granddaughter. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, Feb. 15th from 3:00PM- 8:00PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16th at Kaul Funeral Home at 10:30AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association.
