Margaret Mary McRae (Nee Lombardo), age 91, of Clinton Township, MI passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. She is the beloved wife of 65 years to Richard; Loving mother of Jeanne Barkus and Steven; Cherished grandmother of Michael Barkus, Brandon McRae and Blake McRae.
Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly watching her grandchildren play sports. She was also a hometown sports fan. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends throughout the United States. Margaret was also an avid card player, loved to cook and feed people. You never went to Margaret’s home without her asking if you wanted something to eat. She also loved animals, especially her late dog, Missy.
A visitation will be held for Margaret on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 4-8 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI. In-state will follow on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 9 AM, until time of funeral mass at 9:30 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road, Sterling Heights, MI. Final resting place, Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI.
