Margaret Joyce (MacPhee) Wilson, 71, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Maicle "Nick" Wilson; children, Nicholas, Renee, Lisa McNeal, Shannon; and parents, William " Bill" and Shirley MacPhee; Siblings, Sheryl, Scott (Toni), MaryLu Dobson, Karen (Mike) Wodecki, and Paul (Kim); and 8 grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Xavier, Miranda, Zachery, Faith, Camran and Alaina.
Her brother, Bill A. MacPhee, preceded her in death.
Margaret was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 22, 1950, the third child of William "Bill" and Shirley MacPhee. She grew up in Roseville, Michigan; graduating from high school in 1968. Margaret enjoyed all kinds of activities, even trying to learn to how to play the accordion. With her siblings, she was active in all the youth activities at Bethany Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ her savior at an early age. Following high school, Margaret went on to study at Eastern Michigan University, graduating in 1972. She did some substitute teaching, while also working at Paramount Fabricating in Detroit. It was while working at Paramount that she met the love of her life, Maicle "Nick" Wilson, the father of two young children, Shannon and Lisa. Margaret and Nick were married on August 26, 1978. Soon after, they welcomed a son Nicholas, and then a daughter, Renee. Margaret worked at Paramount for 23 years before becoming the office manager in their drywall business, Roc-It Drywall, in White Lake, Michigan.
A visitation for Margaret will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 welcoming friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. An in state will occur Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service immediately following at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 15 Mile Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48035.
