Mom, 

You mean (meant) so much to me. You were always there by my side for everything, good and bad.  I knew I could always count on you and talk to you about anything.  Good Lord, I hope I didn't stress you out too much but you seemed to be able to handle it.  I remember you were always at all my school events such as band, track, x-country and other events always cheering for me.  You were my biggest cheerleader saying, "Go Michele!  You can do it!"  You were definitely the loudest at my track events!! You were my earliest memory that I remember showing me how much you loved me.  You had a rough life and I am not sure it's the one you wanted but you got 3 kids who loved you so much and you loved them.  It's a mom’s love that's the strongest in this world and I will always cherish it. I am so thankful to God for all the extra time I had with you and we got to share lots of Bible verses and take communion together often.   My heart and mind still want to text you or call you but I can't do that anymore.  I'll have memories though which I will hopefully remember for a long time.  I love you mom.   I am glad we told that to each other often.

Gently take her by the hand and lead her on her way
So that she might find the rainbows end.
Then as she smiles in wonder at the Treasure Heaven holds
Wrap her safely in Your arms and dance with her again,
For you see she was an angel Lord here upon this earth
And though I'll be forever grateful she was mine,
I simply was not ready when I had to let her go
And I still think about her all the time,
So tell her that I love her Lord
More than she'll every know
Then gently place a kiss upon her cheek,
For though she is in Heaven now
I want her to know
She still means the world and all to me.  


I am so saddened to hear.
Shocked too. I saw Marlene at Walmart around Halloween time. We have worked together for many years.
She was so Sweet and so Funny when she got upset at Gale.
I'm so sorry for your loss

Aunt Marlene told the best stories about just ordinary things and made them so incredibly funny! I can remember laughing quite a bit at family reunions with my cousins after listening to her stories.

Wonderful very caring person. 
Will be missed by all of us. 
Glad she has her family waiting for her in Heaven.
