On December 11, 2021, Mary (Tocco) Jerzewski passed peacefully into God’s graces. A feisty and hard-working warrior throughout life, she was 91 years young. This wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt was loved by many. In her true Italian nature, she always had something ready on the stove or in the oven to make sure her family was fed and her company was content. Mary made it her purpose to stay well-connected to all family members and treasured her relationships with dear friends. She will be missed by many, but is now safely home with the Lord.
Throughout Mary’s life, she worked various jobs mostly affiliated with bookkeeping. However, her most rewarding positions were in the fields of home care for the elderly, assisting at food banks, and babysitting. Her favorite past times included knitting, cooking, canning, playing cards, and an occasional trip to the casino to play the slot machines.
Mary is survived by many family members including her daughter, Beverly Cashdollar; brother, Peter Tocco; sister, Sr. Mary Domenica; and sister, Grace Muszynski. Mary had seven grandchildren: Joelle Neal (Adam Smith), Jeffrey Neal (Jen), Audrey Neal-Gifford (Adam Gifford), Bridget Hansen (Mike), Rachel Bennett (Dan), Casey Cashdollar (Andrew Hocker), and Samuel Cashdollar (Cynthia). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Owen, Jack, Carter, Isabella, Sarah, Susannah, Isabelle, Olivia, Abigail, Madelyn, Ophelia, Cairosa, and Roksana. She also had many nieces, nephews and friends that were dear to her heart.
She was predeceased by her husband, Irvin Jerzewski of 34 years; daughter, Rose Ann Neal; brother, Nofrio Tocco; brother, James Tocco; sister, Sr. Mary Salvatore; sister, Nancy Cherry; sister, Sarah Kuszak; sister, Ida Purcell; mother, Domenica Sarcona Tocco; father, Salvatore "Sam" Tocco; son-in-law, Kelly Neal; and son-in-law, Larry Cashdollar.
