Mary M. Ries

Survived by her sister Charlene (Karson) Edgar, niece Carla (Craig) Hashley, great nephew Robert K. Hashley, great niece Rebecca K. Hashley and her special family friend Janice Darwin. Also survived by her very close circle of friends. Preceded in death by her sisters Nancy and Kay Ries, parents Charles and Elnora Ries and niece Nora Kay Edgar.

She taught 39 years for L’Anse Creuse Schools and taught in the Air Force from 1961-1962 in Turkey and 1962-1963 in England. She traveled extensively with friends throughout the years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 12pm until time of Funeral Service at 2pm at Cross Lutheran Church 35851 Utica, Clinton Township.

The family would like to thank the staff at East Harbor for all their love, caring and support especially the TCU wing and PT.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cross Lutheran Church, Salvation Army or Bay Cliff Health Camp.
