

Mike served in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors, where he worked as an Engineer for 35 years. He spent much of his time enjoying Michigan’s great outdoors and had a passion for boating, fishing and the water. He liked reading the newspaper, Detroit Tiger baseball, and watching sports in general. He was an avid pool and card player and loved spending time with his family, friends, and beloved pets; Thunder, Treiva, Timber and Indy.
Mike is survived by his three children: Michael (Gloria), Lorri (John), Christopher (Lynn); his four grandchildren: Christopher, Alexandria, Bradley and Mitchell; and his three great-grandchildren: Claire, Clark and Emma. He is also survived by siblings: James (Gloria), Joseph (Elizabeth), Marjorie, Leah and Marianne (Ray); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Marion, sisters; Elizabeth, Ginny and Patricia (Joe), brother in law Wayne; and two loving nieces Julie and Carrie.
