I was so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. She was the closest cousin in age to me (one month apart). I remember many great times on Lenox Street with her. I pray now for strength and grace for all of you.

I will always remember the good times we shared on vacation in Cape Cod with my parents.  They thought the 
world of Nancy and so did I. May she rest in peace. To this day I remember sitting at the kitchen table with her and Grandma Carter saying that toast.. to the one and
only one and may that one be he who loves but one and only one and may that one be me

So sorry to read about Nancy's passing away. Remembering what a strong person she was (back when we were kids) I'm sure that she fought her cancer until the end.  As a teen, I was forever grateful to her for teaching me how to do a perfect cartwheel. I'm sure that she is cheering for her favorite team up in Heaven. May God be with all of you in your time of sorrow and may your wonderful memories help make each day a little easier until you see her again.

I am so sad to think we will never get to hear our cousin Nancy tell it like it is again!  I LOVED how she said what she felt and admired her for that!  I will always remember all the fun times growing up that we shared, We vacationed in Panama City Beach one year and "what a blast" we all had! Nancy fought a long painful battle and is now pain free celebrating in Heaven with all our WONDERFUL relatives that went before her!  We will always Love & Miss You Nancy!?

You were always a good person to come to with a problem and  could give the most simple answer. My Godmother - you were always there for me - never ever forgot a birthday and always called for important life events.  I remember looking up at your graduation picture on Grandma's wall and being thankful I had such a cute and sassy Aunt/Godmother - yes, even in the picture, the sass came through.  I will never forget some of your advice (most of it very funny), and I will never forget your love.  I think your true "fighting Irish" spirit really came through over the past few years.  I love you so much!

Nancy was a strong, hardworking, no nonsense woman with a sharp wit, a great sense of humor and an abundance of love for family and friends (particularly her son Tommy). We will miss her dearly but take comfort in the fact that she was able to go into God's hands gracefully in the end and is now at peace. Love you Nancy!
