

Nicholas Korzenowski age 14, died November 12,2011. Loving son of Michael and Lisa Korzenowski and dear brother of Jacob and Erica. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, and Thursday instate 9:30AM until time of mass 10:00AM at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038 Arrangements under the direction of Resurrection Funeral Home, Clinton Township, MI.
Nicholas Korzenowski was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Nicholas will be remembered as a very exceptional person who was a loving, kind energetic boy who was loved by all.
Nicholas was born on September 8, 1997 at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He was the son of Lisa and Mike Korzenowski. Nicholas grew up in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Nicholas was raised with two siblings. He had a younger sister, Erica, and a younger brother, Jacob. Nicholas loved attention and playing with his brother and sister.
Nicholas wanted everything to be special. He liked to make everything a fun and exciting time. Nicholas loved to swim. He liked listening to music and playing with his brother and sister. Nicholas' most memorable achievements were his many Special Olympics Medals.
He attended Glen Peters school and enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. His favorite class was story time. The teacher he enjoyed learning from the most was Mrs. Lisa Miller.
Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Nicholas enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances, his best friends were all of his cousins.
Nicholas enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. His favorite vacations included Disney World.
Nicholas was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was his dog, Sydney.
Nicholas passed away on November 12, 2011 at Children's Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his mother and father, Lisa and Mike Korzenowski, his sister Erica, brother Jacob, grandparents Anna and George Ford, and grandmother Anne Flanagan. Services were held on November 17, 2011 at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church in Clinton Township, Michigan. Nicholas was laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Simply stated, Nicholas was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Nicholas leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Nicholas Korzenowski.
