Patricia A. Sinnwell, age 87, passed away peacefully at her nephews home in Lake Orion, MI. Born in Detroit, she worked 38 years as an administrative clerk for the U.S. Government Veterans Administration. She was known for her crocheted baby blankets and cross-stitch art, loved the challenge of a good crossword puzzle, and playing games with her nieces and nephews. Family members said she was always ready for a lunch date and if you joined her on her daily walk you went home with shin splints. She loved family vacations, of which she meticulously journaled. Her life was a beautiful example of her faith in Jesus Christ to her loving sister Nancy (Richard) Lance and Bonnie (Richard) Mietling and the greatest Aunt ever to James (Barbara) Mietling, Rick (Gwen) Mietling, Deborah (David) Crane, Kim (David) Wiland, Daniel (Carol) Mietling, and Kelly (David) Gualtieri, 13 great nieces and nephews and 19 great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Margaret Waple and father Lawrence Sinnwell. Visitation will be Friday, 3-8:00 pm, with a funeral service Saturday at 10:00 am at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Visit online at www.resurrectionfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hope Community Baptist Church, Sterling Heights, MI would be appreciated.
