

Paul Edward DeLeeuw, Sr. of Clinton Township was joyously received into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 19, 2015. Paul was born on March 30, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has been married to his High School sweetheart, Joretta Silvernale, for 62 wonderful years! He graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology and worked in management at Ford Motor Company before becoming vice-president of Quality Container Corp.
Paul transitioned to the real focus of his life (ministering to men and boys) in 1978 when he joined the staff of Christian Services Brigade. Paul’s influence in the lives of men and boys spans several generations and will be greatly missed. Upon his death, Paul is being honored by CSB with the Herald of Christ Award (CSB’s ultimate honor) in recognition of his faithful ministry.
Paul is survived by his wife Joretta, sons Chip (Lori) and Dave (Julie), five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Kaul Funeral Home at 35201 Garfield Road in Clinton Township with viewing on Friday, April 24, 2 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 15 Mile Road in Clinton Township on Saturday, April 25, 11 a.m. with a viewing an hour prior.
Memorials are suggested to Christian Services Brigade in care of Bethany Baptist Church.
