Robert "Bob" Egle

Robert Gerard Egle, died June 30, 2018, one day before his 94th birthday. Bob loved his family. His passion was building and designing homes. He was a retired Tool and Die Maker, previous owner of Big Trees Mobile Home, A&L Park, Seaway Mobile Homes and a Cosmetologist. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy and served 2 and a half years on the Destroyer Escort Ship USS Reynolds. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Annie Grace for 69 years. Loving father of Jeannie (Silvio) Torello and Gracie Holgate. Father-in-law of Barney Artman. Dearest grandfather of Hillary (Mark) Pyper, Jennifer (Dan) Perkins, Jeannie (Nick) Moran, Charity (Mike) Dunn and Brittany (Patrick) May. Dear great-grandfather of eight. He was predeceased by his children Robert “Bobby” and Margaret “Peggy” Artman. Visitation Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 3-9 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township. Funeral Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. Memorial contributions to Blue Water Hospice would be appreciated.
