

He was born September 6, 1944 in Ferndale, MI and spent his childhood along the shores of Lake Huron in Caseville, MI. After 30 years of dedicated service as a process engineer, Russ retired from Chrysler Corporation. Russ loved playing baseball at Laker’s High School in Pigeon, MI, spending time on the water, and creating custom woodworking pieces.
A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Russ served as a Leader in the Christian Service Brigade at Bethany Baptist Church. He was a current member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Harrison Township, MI. Russ especially loved spending his time with his beloved wife as they traveled the world on cruise ships. Russ’ sense of humor, generosity, and dedication to his family will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Denise Way Kosenko of Macomb, MI; sons Steven (Anne) Kosenko of St. Clair Shores, MI, Dale (Amy) Kosenko of Dearborn, MI, and Ryan Kosenko of Macomb, MI; granddaughter Aliya Kosenko of Macomb, MI; brother Donald (Linda) Kosenko of Imlay City, MI; sister in law Brenda Kosenko of Phoenix, AZ. He was predeceased by his parents Steven and Hazel Miller Kosenko of Caseville, MI and his brother Glenn Kosenko of Caseville, MI.
Family will greet friends on Sunday April 23, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 25700 Crocker Blvd., Harrison Twp., on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. In state from 10:00 am until time of service.
