Big we went to your favorite resturant and I had almound chicken just as I always had with you I was with Debbi,Kathyrn,Nin & Howard we really missed your company but we did speak of you and of your political views! We all love and miss you tell Dicki we send a hello!

As everyone knows Big loved the "Circus" more than anyone!  I. went with my son and his family and I know he thought of Uncle Big and I did too.  I could almost see and hear him doing and shouting out as loud as he could what the next act was and what wonderful things to be expected. The best paper was the smile from ear to ear on my granddaughters face and that she road the elephant and had a photo taken with the black bear! So Big I know you were there watch'en us with Mr Jeeves ......Big Hugs Love your favorite sister Jenny

My loving Brother Big,
So much sorrow in my heart..your passing has left me feeling lost. I never knew a day in my life that you were not thought of or a part of. You were my "Big" Brother. All the years we shared with so much laughter and you could light up a room by just walking into it. I know you are at peace and without pain now.. I am thankful for that. God took you home to be with our Mother and my Son Steven...hug them for me.. till I can myself. Big, my brother..you are deeply loved and missed so very much.

My dearest brother Big; 
You were the light and laughter in our lives. We cannot begin to explain what you mean to us, as you were so much more than brother. The oldest of 8 kids, you led the way. We never wanted to disappoint you and you never disappointed us.  You leave a wonderful legacy of stories, laughter, adventure, and fun.  Oh! But you will be missed! We love you, Big.

Our heads are hung low,our hearts filled with sadness,our eyes filled with tears...your legacy will forever live on Uncle Big.God knew you were one of a kind..how blessed we are to of had you in our lives!

Uncle Big made such an impression on my family, that my parents named me after him.  I'll always remember the story he used to tell how his hair turned white...truck broke down on a rainy night... Kind-of-a-story.  He used to bring us kids footlong coney dogs, took us on our first vacation to Disney World, and took us to the circus for the first time. I will miss him.  We love ya Uncle Big

Big was the rock of this family, he stood by all of us. he made sure we were all taken care of and that nothing in life could could pass us by. We remember  all the stories, bedbug, invention head, bill harbor , and bedsprings. Without you, life will be hard but, you tought us enough about life that we know we will be ok. Look down on us once in a while and kick us if you feel we are messing up.   all our love ..

we are the luckiest sisters in the world because, we had the biggest big brother in the whole world who just happened to be named BIG. He took us ( each of his sisters ) on their own privated  vacation to california, his favorite place. we remember when he would drive up in the tucker freight truck to give us a ride. We miss his laugh, his devious smile( you knew he was thinking something up), his mr.Geeves story, sleeping outside under the plumb tree, his juggling three balls, and most of all we will always remember new dodge bar new years eve party.... we love and miss you always  ,  love Debbi and Jenny....xoxoxoxoxoxox

Uncle Russ, you brought laughter, joy, and encouragement with you everywhere - and you gave it generously. The dear memories you created for us from our earliest days helped us become who we are, and who we will one day become. Thank you.

All the days on Shacket, hanging up clothes in his bakcyard, his mom and mine best friends, he is one of the happiest men I have ever known, andhis laughter will go on....I miiss talking to him, he came out to see me 4 times, and I loved him like a brother. Big, laugh with Jesus now,Indians believe every time someone passes there is a new star in the sky, I can see his shining brightly, just like him. Your family is inmy heart and prayers....love Carla

Russ "Big" and I have been friends since childhood.  Our families grew up together in the same neighborhood.I have never seen Big without a heart warming smile and a caring heart. I feel very blessed and honored to have known him.  You will be deeply missed my friend.

Everything Big did in life was just like his nickname...when it came to friends and family, he alwasys came through in a "big" way.  His love of life can only be compared to the impact he made on everyone in his life.  I'll always remember the great times Big.

Russ was known to my brother and myself as "Uncle Russ"! I'm so happy to have him in my life through my childhood and into my adult life where we shared so many great moments that ended up being great memories!

Russ didn't get his name "Big" because of his height, but rather because of his  heart! His heart was so big, he was always reaching out to help others and never expected anything in return. The world is a better place because of him. We grew up together and remained friends for 69 years. I will miss you "Phineos T."
