Sharon Wisniewski, a resident of Macomb, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026 at the age of 79. She was born on July 12, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Harry Joseph and Irene Rita (née Miela) Kowalski.
Sharon was raised in Warren and graduated from Lincoln High School. She went on to dedicate 37 years of service to Kroger, where her strong work ethic and warm personality helped her work her way up to the position of customer service manager before retiring in 2005.
On May 24, 1980, Sharon married the love of her life, James Alan Wisniewski, at their church in Warren, where the couple first made their home before later settling in Macomb. Together, they recently celebrated 46 wonderful years of marriage.
Sharon enjoyed visiting casinos in her free time — especially anywhere she happened to be winning — but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family, particularly her granddaughters. She cherished life’s simple joys: shopping trips together, family gatherings, and baking Christmas cookies with the people she loved most.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, James Wisniewski; her daughter, Renee (Tony) Saroli; and her granddaughters, Kelsey (Jack) Karle and Lia (fiancé Anton Richards) Saroli.
Funeral services will be private.
