Shelby G. Bowles, age 79, passed away on December 1, 2021; beloved husband to the late Franny Bowles for 41 years; loving father to the late Shelly Bowles, Tammy (Dan) Bondy, Rodney Bowles and Jerry (Samantha) Bowles; cherished grandpa to Christopher, the late Brandyn, Eric, Justyn, Ashley and Serenity; he is also preceded in death by his siblings Harry Bowles, Jimmy Bowles, Paul Bowles and Tommy Bowles.
Shelby worked at Ford’s for 30 years as a welder and retired as such. He was an avid member of his church, Friendship Missionary Baptist in Sterling Heights.
The family will greet friends at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00am for a funeral service officiated by Pastor Richard Vincent on Monday, December 6th.
Shelby will be laid to rest next to his loving wife Franny at White Chapel Cemetery following Monday’s funeral service.
