Thomas Michael Tobin

Thomas M. Tobin, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by loving wife of over 35 years, Gloria and daughter Mary Angela. Thomas is survived by his children; Michael (Christina) Tobin, Mary Katherine Ray and JoAnne (James) Jachyra, grandchildren; Jeremy Ray, Kirsten and Thomas Tobin and siblings; Jack (Donna) Tobin, Jerry (Barbara) Tobin, Dan (the late Judy) Tobin and Joan (Robert) Neely.

Tom was an avid reader of many types of books including science fiction, mysteries, biographies, history and many more. He enjoyed collecting coins, going to the casino, swimming (in his earlier years) and listening to classical music. He loved to travel with his lovely wife, especially their trip to San Diego and his trip to Ireland. Thomas was a proud graduate of St. John Seminary. He also served in the United States Army. More than anything, Thomas loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will take place at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Thurs. April 16th from 3 to 8pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Blase 12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312 on Fri. April 17th at 9:30am with an instate time of 9:00am.
