Timothy Stewart

Timothy R. Stewart, age 56, passed away suddenly on May 13, 2015. He was the loving husband of Roma for almost 30 years, father of Ben (Jessica), grandfather of Edward James, son of Richard and the late Shirley Stewart, and brother of Jacki (Ron) Redmond. Tim also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

Timothy was very active in church and enjoyed reading/studying theology and participating in bible studies. He also enjoyed softball, bowling, golfing and watching sports, mainly basketball and baseball with his family, especially his son. Tim was an amazing man with a sense of humor. He was competitive, he liked playing board games with his family and liked the water and going to Lake Michigan. He had a heart of gold and volunteered with community service projects, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and was a Boy Scout leader. Tim was a very caring man and would always come back to Michigan any time his family needed him. He was a pastor of several American Baptist Churches in Iowa before coming back to Michigan and becoming a member of CrossPoint Church. More than anything, Tim loved spending time with his family especially his precious grandson EJ. He is going to be missed by all who knew him.

The visitation will be at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI on Fri. May 15th from 3-8pm. The funeral service will take place at CrossPoint Church, 44000 North Ave. Clinton Township, MI on Sat. May16th at 10:30am with an in state time of 9:30am.

The interment will be 10:00am Friday, May 22, 2015 at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemtery in Clinton Township.
