

He was born May 31st 1921 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Ida (Provo). He married his life partner Lucille on September 26th 1959. As a couple, they settled down in East Detroit, Michigan to raise 3 boys.
William aka “Trap” was the loving and devoted father of William F. (Christine) Lamere, Paul B. Lamere, and Kenneth J. Lamere; caring grandfather of Chase and Nolan; and dear brother of Maureen, Marion, Pete and Henry.
William was of the Catholic faith and attended church services on a weekly basis since he was a child.
He served in World War II, Army Division as a Tech 5 in Iraqi and Iran running supplies up to the Russian front.
William’s occupation as an electrician spanned well over 30 years; during this period he assisted in the wiring of some the largest auto plants in Michigan.
Some of his greatest joys in his life were taking his family down to Tiger Stadium for a double-header, talking about his favorite baseball player Ted Williams, fishing in Canada and watching TV Shows “Gunsmoke” and “The Six Million Dollar Man” with Lucille.
In Heaven, William has been acknowledged and admitted into the “Greatest Fathers Hall of Fame” and joins Lucille who is a member of the “Greatest Mothers Hall of Fame”.
Family and friends will cherish William's memory forever.
