I met Xe at Whole Foods and he is obviously a sparkling and special soul.
We used to talk about traveling to Mexico and to other Central American Countries.  I could travel vicariously through Xe.  Was always excited to hear about where he planned to go next and to smile with him.  We spoke a bit about his experience in Maya Land.
Xe must be needed because there is no sense to be make of what happened.
I looked forward to seeing and talking to him at work and a HUGE light is gone on this plane.  He is amazing, loving, and so kind that I think a big blanket that is Xe must be needed to surround us all.

I remember my first day at Clovis East. Ernie was my first friend who took me in. He always had something positive to say to me. He is a legend and probably one of the coolest guy in high school. Another story about Ernie is when I was a sophomore in high school, I tripped and fell off some stair and lucky Ernie was there to carry me to the nurses office. I will always remember Ernie and his spirit will always live on and we will never forget him.

(continuation:) Ernesto, Xe, was a pure channel of light, love and honor. I am blessed to have walked on the path of this angel. I will continue to let Xe lead the way. All it takes is imagining his face, feeling his heart, and we are put back on the path.

Ms. Braxton and dear sisters...my heart breaking for his beautiful feminine co-being...I wrote something on the portrait of Xe which is bedecked with now-weathered flowers just outside the store, which works in all directions. It affirms the blessing and giftedness he extended to each of us; the recognition and gratitude we must proclaim for the blessed gift we have received in beholding him and being beheld by him; and the ultimate affirmation of the goodness and rightness of this dear being's walk on Earth. Family, it reads, "Yes, Beloved, I Saw You."

I am just a far-distant ripple from the center of your beautiful brother's time and place of existence, but I must let your family know that his light emanated throughout a busy store in a frenetic city to a complete and utter stranger, who felt the pure love and serenity of his presence. Thank you for bringing us this pure being. I am so sorry for your pain. Thank you for sharing him with us. He was love, he was loved.

I was simply a customer of the store on Haight Street in San Francisco. I only ever encountered this beautiful being a handful of times...but I was stunned by his luminous beauty from the first encounter I had with him. I asked him about his name, learned a bit about his background, he asked me about my little toddler's name...everything about him was golden and beautiful. His gentle voice, his lovely, genuine, serene, kind manner. The last time I saw him, I was actually rather nervous, because I found him so beautiful, so I was less open to fully interacting with him (being shy)...still, I was watching him, and was moved by how gently and gracefully he handled things, the simple act of picking up items. He said he would put them in my bag for me, which is not a big thing, but for whatever reason it felt so incredibly loving and generous and kind and giving, the pure offering from his open soul. I observed him one other morning in the store, just kind of out in the middle of space, holding a cup of tea...I literally wanted to ask him, "how do you do it? how did you get to this place?," but I was too shy. I wanted to tell him, "you are incredibly, purely, stunningly beautiful," but I was afraid I'd look like I was hitting on him rather than his seeing that I was really seeing him. He probably would have "gotten it." What I saw in this being was a stillness, a completion, a total peace, total integration into being, time and place. I really and truly did, as I looked at him there holding his cup of tea. You shall be carried dearly in my heart, Xe, from just one passer through whose open heart, eyes and shining light completely and fully beheld yours. I remember Ernesto coming to my house as a kid like it was yesterday. My dad, brother, & myself were all very sorry to hear about what happened to a great friend. He was more than just a friend to me, he was family. I feel honored to have known Ernesto for so long, and you will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Xe

From Andrew & Andrea's Uncle & Aunt; We met Ernesto at A & A's wedding ceremony in Mariposa. Although our encounter was brief, we knew Ernesto was a kind and gentle person. We are so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

Xe was really an extraordinary person as all of you know and I'm glad I had the opportunity to travel with him to Mexico. He was real easy going and always showed positivity even during rough times. There's not enough compliments for Xe and although he has a twin sister, Andrea, Xe was also our precious twin=Quetzalcoatl and that's something he wanted all of us to recognize.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ernesto through my brother Andrew.  I remember him being a very warm and friendly individual with a positive energy about him.  Though our encounter was brief, may you forever shine through your loved ones.

Xe was like my little brother as far as i am concerned.  I am a native of Fresno and I am also known as Maestra Malinalzihuatl.  I got a chance to walk with Xe on some of his traveling to Mt. Shasta and Mexico with groups.  He was always there with a hug and a smile for me.  We felt like family and brother and sister.  My family, who are all traditional catholics will be praying for his soul.  My brother is a catholic traditional priest.  If the family would like to have my brother come out and bless the ground where he is to be buried, please let me know and i will relay the information to my brother Father Magana.
