I was a next door neighbor of Connie and Freddy's. He was a very fun person to be around. There were nights when he and I would go break up the parties at the end of the street. He was a great partner in keeping our neighborhood in order. He and Connie were the cutest couple. Always loved a great parade ❤️

At the September Corvettes of Fresno General  Meeting membership asked that I extend our condolences...Please know that Doc Vette will be fondly remembered! 

Dear Freddy's Family, 
I am so very sorry for your loss, may you find comfort in knowing how many of us in Clovis loved Freddy " Dr.Vette".  I have known Freddy for 39 years, I have never seen him greet anyone without that huge infectious smile.  Infact Freddy stopped by Line-X, two  weeks ago, we chatted and laughed! Hug your loved ones tight because tomorrow is never promised.. God speed Freddy, until we meet again my friend.   

Freddy, our family will miss you. You’ve been a friend to three generations of the Tones. Thank you for your friendship. I am so happy you & Connie found each other. This picture was taken July 27 at Dad’s 80th party. Freddy and the Tone girls! RIP my friend. 

 Freddy is my wife's cousin, (who I've only known for the past 36 years,) but it's been interesting. A fascinating, fun person. ALL the Clovis information he gave me was invaluable while I was still working. I'm devastated, because I always figured we had more time to hangout. RIP,  my Warrior Brother! 

Freddy has been in my life making me laugh since I was about 10 years old! I have so many special memories... Picking me up from school in his 67 Vette, teaching me how to drive a stick in his 67, all the times he let me blow the dust off of it by myself, even though it was his baby, he trusted me to drive it without him! Many years of working on my cars or building me my own baby’s! Teaching me how to be a kind giving person and to be a man of integrity. Teaching me how to fight and wrestle and fighting for me if needed. Hanging out with Freddy was like being with a celebrity, he loved to kid about being seen with him will make you famous! Lol... About 38 years of memories, too many to list! I think the most special of all was him calling me his Son and him my father! Over the years he would always be there for me if needed...  He was always there for anyone if they needed him! There are no words to express the loss of him in our lives. Freddy, we love you and will never forget what a great man you were and how you made us laugh and smile! I’ll never forget what you’ve taught me and the memories we’ve shared! RIP!❤️

Freddie and I would go back an forth about our Corvettes his of course the faster. One day he came by my shop I offered a picture of him and I in front of my car he said hang on to it-some day it will be worth a fortune. Thanks Freddie I still have it . 

Always will remember Dr. Vette! He was funny and always nice to us kids. Even showing up many many years later to my eldest and youngest of brothers’ celebration of life events.  He was a big support for us Tarpey village kids. He will be missed. Picture was taken on March 23 this year.

Heartfelt condolences to Agnes, Frank, Sally and wife Connie from family in Sacramento. So sad to lose another cousin especially since he was a couple of years younger. Fun childhood memories to recall,  he was a character. Always told him that my son reminded me alot of him as a toddler and little boy with curly hair and brown complexion. He response would always be " well he's going to be good-looking like me!" 

For most of my life I’ve known Freddy’s loving manners. To think about CLOVIS without his presence is painful, but he would wish us to get through his home-going. 
 Nothing heals with Gods’s speed as a singing heart! Until we meet again my Brother!

Freddy was a a man who took us little guys under his wing and taught us "coolness" gave words of wisdom and taught us how to work.  He was always welcoming and allowed us to hang around while He worked on his cars.  A staple in the Tarpey neighborhood,  He would smile and say hi to all as went on his daily runs.  He was a loyal friend and often lending a helping hand to those less fortunate.
Freddy will be missed.....

We will all see Freddy in Heaven.

I met Freddy in 4th grade at Sierra Vista Elementary, Clovis.  He and his cousins played baseball with my siblings and me in a field, across from my house.  I remember his “waterfall” hair style and leather jacket.  

We moved away from Clovis shortly after meeting him.  However, I met Freddy again  at a party 12 years later,  via my then husband, Art Medina.  Freddy was always happy/funny and any time I saw him, he would always make me laugh/smile.   

Condolences to his wife, family and friends - he will be missed!

Freddy, 
You were one of a kind to say the least, always a smile and a hug each time I saw you. You will be missed by the entire Myatt Family. Rest in peace my old friend. Blessing to the entire Martinez Family during your time of grief. 

Freddie..My neighbor, my friend, my family.  You will forever be my hero, my rescuer. My heart is filled with sorrow.  Peace be with you, I love you.
