Thank You Lord for this precious Uncle in my life that gave me so much love all my life! Until we meet again with Jesus Uncle, I carry you in my heart forever

I met G.O.B. at Tiffany Shmiffany (Clovis) in the early 70s 
He became an indispensable part of our wine sales team in 1975 and  remained a good friend and inspiration since then. 

I will cherish the loving memories of his tender heart, the love of music and playing rummy along with a lifetime of love I received from my favorite Uncle Glenn.  I miss his sweet voice so much.  Playing pool was so much fun and he was great at it. A wonderful son to Grandmother Lois.  A wonderful man to all that met him.  He loved us all so much and the stories he shared with me about his life being surrounded by so many that loved him! He loved being a father,  husband, grandpa, brother and I will miss you dearly until we meet again. I love you 

I first became aware of Glenn in the early 1980s when my husband & I, due to our interest in wine, attended a few local wine tastings sponsored by Jerry Mead. In 1988 when I actually became a part of the wine industry as a sales rep for a wholesaler/distributor one of my first sales calls was to Old Doc’s (Store #1 @ Cedar & Ashlan) to meet Doc & Glenn. Over the years we had many wonderful wine encounters. He was one of the most gentle, gracious & genuine human beings I’ve ever met. I raise my glass to you, Mr. Barker!

When I think of Glenn, it always brings a smile to my face. We met decades ago at Old Doc's, where he would offer his insight into wine.  Later, at our monthly wine tastings, it was interesting, how similar our palate was, scoring the wines we were tasting. 
Glenn was always inquisitive and encouraging. May God Bless You.
