My condolences to Floyd's family. In the late 70's I started a small barricade and trench shoring rental company. (AAA Traffic Control and FlasherLite) Without Floyd and Evelyn's patronage I doubt seriously I would lasted 10 years in business. I am forever grateful for that. I picture Floyd driving up to a jobsite on Van Ness extention in his new silver Cadilac Fleetwood as if it was a work truck and don't get in his way when he was on a loader!  Rest in peace Floyd!

Floyd, thank you for the memories.  For the moments of laughter you will forever play a part in! For your bellowing voice I will always remember and hear.  For the chance to fly with you and see what a great pilot you were. I worked for him for 10 years,some good...some bad,but I learned a lot from the man. Worked a lot of hours during my time there. Worked with some great people there too. But Floyd was one of kind ,no doubt about. I'm still in construction and I'm always telling my stories from those days with Floyd, to everybody I work with now.There will never be another man like him. To quote him:" I LOVE YOU KID!"  Rest in peace, Floyd you'll be missed!

I spent 20 years with this man .What A  amazing person .even tho i havnt seen him in 15 years there isnt a day that go,s by that i dont think about him.
In the twenty years we had many ups and downs i was 21 years old when i started with his company and he pretty much formed me into what i am today
the things that i have seen him do were just unreal.Floyd ,you were a Hero to me.My prays go out to all of his family
