Jesse is survived by his son Jeff Lovick and his wife Nicholyn, his daughter Benita Hall. His grandsons Matthew Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Jaycee Wilson, Cory Lovick and Trevor Lovick. Jesse also had 3 great grandsons Caleb Wilson, Zackeria Lovick and Loxton Lovick.
After Jesse’s service in the Air Force he met the love of his life Ruth and moved from North Carolina to Fresno California to start a new life together. Jesse was a Barber in Fresno for 45 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing , shooting pool and square dancing with Ruth.
Jesse was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Lovick; his daughter Patricia Williams and his son Richard Lovick; his parents Edward and Annie (Holland) Lovick.
A visitation for Jesse will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
A graveside service will occur Monday, October 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612, followed by a memorial service and celebration of life at 11:00 AM at New Hope Christian Church, 4620 Nees Ave, Clovis, CA 93611.
Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Wilson, Jaycee Wilson, Cory Lovick, Trevor Lovick, Zackeria Lovick, Arthur Howard, Randy Scharnick and Wayne Mumford.
