To my dear uncle...the one and only JP.  There was no one like you!  Thank you for all the great times and memories.  Some of my most special memories include:
--Our time spent going through old pictures of my dad and the WWII articles on his torpedoed ship.  I cherish my picture of you wearing his 1942 life jacket.
--Your 2008 trip to Michigan when you spent time with my mom.  Since she died shortly after you left you were so happy to have seen her.  My mother so enjoyed your visits!
--You and Glory taking Lisa to Hollywood during one of her first trips to California.
--When Cliff and I took you to tour the University of Michigan campus and you visited Lisa at her sorority house.
--You actually making the trip to WV last summer for the reunion.  It was difficult for you but you did it!!  I am so happy we got to see you then and it made you so happy to be there!!  Thank you, Aunt Glory, for making this trip possible.
--You and Cliff golfing, talking football, politics, and food (of course!)
--The September we went to WV and took the train ride...so much fun.
There was always fun, teasing, and never a dull moment when you were around.  It was unbelievably funny when you and Uncle Jobey dressed up like women at a reunion!  Your love of family was contagious and our reunions will not be the same without you.  I will miss our long phone conversations.  You will be greatly missed but never forgotten and always loved.

I don't think there is any greater tribute to a man than he raised 4 wonderful children -- one so great I had to marry her.  He will be missed

Was so sad to hear the terrible news.  Lori and I will truly miss Uncle John Paul.  We often think about our many trips, Kentucky Derby, Chicago, West Virginia, trips to Windor Casino,  and our many road trips,  so glad we did, so now we have all those wonderful memories.
We will be thinking and praying for you Aunt Glory.

Uncle John Paul was the best example of a family man who always wanted to be with family. He will be missed by all. The picture of him on the beach back East was when Aunt Glory and he visited our property at Northport,Michigan Traverse Bay. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. John and I first met in the Air Force in 1954. We were both stationed at Davis Monthan AFB here in Tucson. Many good times were had while we served together for four years. He was a fun guy and smiled all the time. I'm going to miss him.

Remembering Uncle JP and Aunt Glory as traveling companions: In particular, New York City(before 911). We walked everywhere and enjoyed many special escorts (thanks Aunt Glory!). The view that impressed us was that of the Twin Towers each morning on the ferryboat ride from our New Jersey motel into the Big Apple! Who could have known?  A few years later, we enjoyed another trip that included John's sister Louise.  We traveled through the many  Michigan sites along route M22 and into the Upper Peninsula. JP really liked the Pictured Rocks boat ride among the many sites. Years later, Uncle JP would often recall to us the delicious meat pasties we had on that trip.  Thank you Uncle JP and Aunt Glory for warm and fun memories!  All our Love Aunt Glory. Now, Uncle JP truly knows the Love of the Father.  Blessings, El and Angie Abraham

Hey grandpa! I will forever miss your stubborness. I see so much of you in my dad! I wish I came up to visit in time. I will regret that; but I will never regret sitting there listening to you talk about who knows what lol and asking me plenty of questions to keep my mind running. Who's talkin to you?!?! Lol that will always be mine and your thing! Thank you to grandma and you for sending me cards every birthday when my other grandparents may forget to. Love you so much! Its like I knew you guys since I was a baby. Glad to hear you're not suffering but sad to know you won't be there to visit. We will keep grandma safe and happy don't worry!
