Joyce was known for her love of Disneyland, with a special fondness for her favorite character, Tinkerbell. She enjoyed sewing, camping, traveling, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Her favorite colors were teal and purple, and she had a deep appreciation for oldies and gospel music.
Joyce’s vibrant personality and quick wit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dan Ward, and her children: Crystal Collins (Justin), Russ Ward, Christie Quiggly (Glenn), Lisa Ward, James Gridley (Randy), and Greg Ward (Cherish). She also leaves behind her siblings: Bob Furgerson, Wayne Furgerson, Kelvin Furgerson, and Linda Pennington.
In addition to her immediate family, Joyce is survived by 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
A Graveside Service to honor Joyce's life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Clovis Cemetery, located at 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
