October 1, 1938 - June 14, 2025
Margie Iola Black, 86, of Fresno, California, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 14, 2025.
Born on October 1, 1938, in Eudora, Arkansas, Margie lived a life marked by love, faith, and quiet strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from caring for her family and sharing her deep faith.
Margie spent much of her professional life in the real estate industry, where she built lasting relationships and touched the lives of many. In retirement, she found happiness in the gentle rhythm of quilting and stitch work - arts that reflected her patience, creativity, and warmth.
She is survived by her loving daughter Teri and her husband Bret, her son Tim, her cherished granddaughters Kelli and husband Nick, Holli and husband Jeremy, and four beloved greatest grandchildren: Amelia, Reese, Emerson, and Ezekiel.
Margie found joy in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life. Her faith was her foundation and her comfort. She now rests in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty.
A private family service will be held to honor her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Margie’s memory to charity of your choice or to your local church community.
Margie’s love, wisdom, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
