My heart has been heavy on this 2nd anniversary of Mike's passing.  I've been praying for my sister Nancy and our family!  I miss Mike so much!! I think of him every time I watch our favorite TV shows and when I'm cooking Mike's favorite foods.  Much love to Mike and my family.  I'm sure God's put Mike to work in Heaven!!! XOXO Mia

Just closing this first year with memories of Mike and how much we have missed him. There are so many times that I have wanted to pick up the phone and share something with him or to ask him a question. Of all people, Mike should have been the one to stay here with us but it only makes me believe that where he is he was needed more. He was a giver and a kind loving person and gave much more than he took from this earth.  Now it is his turn to have it all!

  I've missed the great conversations with you since you left Carrington Pointe. Your commitment to helping the residents, as well as employees with anything needed was exceptional and will not be forgotten. You are gone from this earth, but will live on in our hearts. May the Lord greet you and may you rest in his loving arms for eternity.

Mike, i haven't seen you since I left the gang at Hy-lond 10 years ago, but you always were so nice and sweet. I loved your sense of humor too. You and Nancy were perfect for each other. You are gonna be truly missed. They say god takes the best first. You are Nancy, the girls, grandkids and the rest of your family's guardian angel now. Rest in peace. Till we meet again

For Mike and Family,
A friend of mine was going to introduce me to Mike many years ago as she said he could help us at Carrington Pointe.  When I finally met him I had heard so many times before about "MikeNnancy" that I did not know that his name was just Mike.
He got quite a kick out of his new name the first time I met him.  And that is what I learned ...it was MikeNnancy all the way!! John and I have heard so many beautiful stories about Mike's friend Gary and Mike's family we felt like we were part of them and many of them we had not even met. He just made us seem like all of us were his family too.  Mike told us that he could hardly believe that he had such a great family and that he said all families should be like this and he couldn't understand why so many were not.  He told John that his family was just "B******". His love and care for people is an example of how we should be while we are still here on earth! Mike will live on in our hearts forever for it was a great thing to be part of Mike's circle and as he often said..."Just another day in paradise".
