Randal Robert Ohlberg (Randy) was born on December 29, 1957, in Merced, California, he entered into rest on February 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Randy was a long-time resident of Clovis, and will be remembered for his humorous and lighthearted spirit and his quest for adventure.
Randy was blessed with a loving family. He was married to the Love of his Life, Tammy affectionately called "Babydoll" for 29 wonderful years. His family included step sons William Taylor of Clovis & Nicholas Taylor of Fresno.
Randy's legacy extends to his granddaughters, Zoe & her sister Kaylee who affectionately called him "Papa". He is also survived by his Father-in-law, William (Bill) Taylor of Madera California, his brother Gordon (Gordy) Ohlberg and his wife, Connie Ohlberg of Pueblo West, Colorado, his sisters, Luanne (Lu) Morrison and her husband John Morrison of Las Vegas, Nevada and Marcia McComb and her husband Jeff McComb of Pueblo West, Colorado, and leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends to cherish his memory.
Randy enjoyed a rewarding career as a Project Engineer, where he dedicated the last 27 years of his life designing and building industrial equipment. His work was not only a testament to his skills but also to his commitment and passion for the field. He particularly enjoyed building motorcycles & enjoyed working with Tammy on their landscaping projects in their yard.
A Life Celebration will be held at Boice Funeral Home, located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California, on February 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Randy will be laid to rest at Keawe'ehu-Campbell Family Cemetery, 64-734 Kaskanihia Road, Kamuela, Hawaii.
Randy’s laughter and light-heartedness will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will continue to bring smiles and joy to his family and friends for many years to come.
