Linda. Even though much time. Has passed Robert and I have fond memories of you ray and your family.   We were so sorry to hear of Ray  passing away.

It is so overwhelming, but yet comforting to to hear from so many people that my dad has touched throughout his years. Thank you so much for all the prayers thoughts and stories, I am so proud and humbled that I was able to have such an amazing man for a father. .

Dear Linda,
Our family was saddened by the news about the death of Ray.  We are so very sorry. You and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers.  These first holidays will be difficult for you.  Remember that Ray continues to watch over you and your family and is with you in spirit.

Uncle Ray was a man whom I truly admired from my childhood days, through my military career, and to this very day!  He was a man of many accomplishments and talents. And absolutely my definition of a hero.

Ray you were an inspiration to my family. Thank you for being a kind, gentle and loving man.

My family was friends with Ray for years.He was such a wonderful friend! Thankfully, besides friendship,I had the pleasure of working with him one summer at Blasingame. I will never forget his guidance and support. He taught me a myriad of things from how to cook frog legs to how to grease the zerts on the fire trucks. I am sorry to hear about your loss and I pray that you will be lifted by knowing that he lives on through all of those he touched. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers!

Dearest Linda, Tara, and Brianne - I am so sorry that Ray has passed.  I was honored to be in the presence today at the funeral with so many heroes like Ray - firefighters, marines and dignitaries.  It is a testament to what a great man he was to have so very many people present to say their goodbyes.  You are in my prayers and thoughts right now.  May his memory be eternal.

I was one of Ray's nurses and he was one of my special patients.  He was always kind, polite and a gentleman.  He loved to tease me about finally learning to shoot.  He honored me and my son-in-law with some of his hand-made metalwork.  I will miss him.

Linda, I am very sorry to hear about Ray.  I remember my first years teaching in Clovis Unified, not knowing many people, and how you and Ray took me water skiing.  That was great fun!



Ray, Linda and girls were loved by us very much. We were neighbors for ten years. We moved in 2005 to AZ. We have a special place in our hearts for the Stockwell family. Ray was a person that was loved by all. With his hunting stories, his fire fighting stories. His love of woodworking and the great things he made in his shop (garage). Ray we will miss you very much, all our love.

Linda and Girls, There are just no words to express how sad I am to hear about Ray.  He was so very special to me, besides Grandpa, I really looked up to him.  We had a very special relationship during my childhood and after.  I love you all very much.  If there is anything I can do please let me know.  I will see you at the funeral.
