Rick was born on June 2, 1946. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served overseas in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968. He went on to become a well-established civil trial attorney, practicing law for 50 years while also working as a dedicated farmer.
A man of strong Catholic faith, Rick lived for his family. He married the love of his life, June (Campagne) Belardinelli, on February 11, 1983, and they shared 43 beautiful years together. He was a devoted husband, father, and papa/grandpa whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. His strong work ethic, integrity, and deep faith left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, June (Campagne) Belardinelli; his three children: Richard (Marissa) Belardinelli of Fresno, Jenna (Joey) Belardinelli of Fresno, and Alexandra (Austin) Napolitano of Sanger; and his six cherished grandchildren: Austin, Chase, Luca, Sofia, Juliana, and Liam.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Belardinelli; his father, Louis Belardinelli; and his brother, Raymond Belardinelli.
A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fresno, followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.
Rick’s legacy of love, service, faith, and dedication to family will live on through all who knew him.
