I was fortunate enough to work with Steve off and on for a few seasons at American west aviation he was a great kind person always made us laugh. and he was a great pilot Rest In Peace 

My brother was a gregarious soul, loud and playful. Always joking as I remember much like our dad! He was so close to our father they shared mutual interest. Hunting, fishing drinking beers. I have many memories of my brother, how he rough housed me when I was young, how I tagged along in his new GTO boy did the ladies like that car! And well yes they kinda liked him too!  Steven had a hot temper he’d read ya off in a second but true to our family five minutes later he was laughing! He had a soft heart and hard exterior at times, a giver a good father, and great brother to my sisters and me. I was touched the last time I saw him he complemented me on how beautiful I looked and how he loved me, we hugged and cried together at my sisters funeral. The last time we spoke was a week prior to his passing again he was kind and soft hearted. I’m far away in a place he loved to visit Costa Rica so I can’t be there to honor him. But here’s a funny little story: I was sitting in a outdoor café in Jacó beach Costa Rica my best friends restaurant, we’d people watch. We’d watch all the men come from the beetle bar and walk down the street, I had not  spoken to Steven in about five years, he didn’t know I lived here, I thought I saw him walking down the road with another guy! And I’ll be dammed if it wasn’t my Brother coming out of the better bar! I told my friend  “ Hey!! That guy he looks just like my brother “ her response was wow Guapo!
 ( handsome )  my response was yes he is! I found out later in it was him our paths crossed an another country what a small world! Steven I’ll miss you your wisecracks and your love you showed me. I hope your fishing with dad. 

I am so very THANKFUL that I had my Uncle Steven in my life. Especially during my childhood.  He and my Grandpa were my "Father Figures" while growing up.  As an adult I look back at  the summer trips to the lake.  Great memories.  The day I needed someone to walk me down the Isle there was no doubt in my head , it had to be Grandpa and Uncle Steven. 

Our most humble condolences to the family. Steve will forever be remembered in our hearts as a great friend. All the grape season parties are golden memories. Fly high enjoy paradise AMIGO. Scott and Kirk you both and your family's are in our prayers. Blessings Always Tony & Angie
