Velvin Young Jr., age 78, of Fresno, California passed away on Tuesday February 4, 2020. Velvin was born May 18, 1941 in Arkansas.

Velvin is survived by his wife, Josephine Young; son Kenne Maxwell; daughter Kimberly Young; daughter Rhonda R. Yarbrough; and daughter Tenaya I. Maxwell; sister Doris Hartwell and sister Dora Lint; grandchild Jackie Young, grandchild Tiana Maxwell, grandchild VaShawn Oliver-Yarbrough, grandchild Javon Oliver-Yarbrough, grandchild Taylor Firebaugh, grandchild Mitchell Firebaugh, grandchild Brian Canedy, grandchild Talia Maxwell, grandchild Bethanu Douglas, grandchild D' mir Maxwell, great grandchild Titan Mcguiness and great grandchild Renee' Oliver-Yarbrough.
