Virginia was affectionately known for her dedication and service as a "Lunch Lady" in the Food Service Industry for 21 years. Her commitment to her work and the community she served was deeply appreciated by those around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Rouse, and her son, Norman Gayer, II. She also leaves behind her brother, Daniel Sanchez, and her cherished grandchildren: Melissa Gayer, Christopher Gayer, Regina Gayer, Sara Blystra, Krystal Rose Gayer, and Nicole Antoinette Gayer. Virginia also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Gayer, her son, Richard Allen Gayer, and her grandchild, Richard Allen Gayer. She was also predeceased by her father, Baltazar Sanchez, and her mother, Consuela (Moreno) Sanchez.
A Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California, on September 10, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Following the Visitation, a Graveside Service will take place at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California, at 1:00 pm.
Honoring Virginia as pallbearers will be Norman Gayer, II, Michael Tempesta, Christopher Gayer, Jim Bruchett, DeAndre Cole, and Mario Navarro, Jr.
Virginia Gayer's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her work. She will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew her.
