
Zachary “Zac” Bettencourt was born in Fresno, CA on August 22, 1985 and passed away on April 12, 2013. Zac attended Clovis schools; graduating from Clovis High in 2003. Zac was a custodian for Clovis Unified School District.
At a young age, after beating brain cancer, Zac took on an unwavering positive outlook on life. He lived each day to its fullest and was never afraid to share his story with others. With his easy-going personality, Zac was a stranger to no one. He was a young man filled with love, courage, honesty, humor, dedication, and loyalty. He was passionate about guns, target shooting, and “Zombie Apocalypse”.
Zac was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Bettencourt; grandparents Lionel and Gerrie Bettencourt; and uncle, Craig Dillon. He is survived by his father, Joe Bettencourt and stepmom, Gina Rowley; grandparents Vern and Jean Dillon; “sister” Danielle Gluck and “brother” Josh Bannon, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
A graveside service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park (201 N Teilman, Fresno Ca.) on Friday, 4/19/13 at 1:00pm. A celebration of Zac’s life will immediately follow at the residence of Bruce Bettencourt (4732 N Malvern, Sanger Ca 93657)
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in his name can be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 351 W. Cromwell
