Ben was born October 17, 1971 in Freeport, Texas to Ben Francis and Juanita Jones. He was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He will be missed by numerous family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son Ben Douglas Jones II; father Ben Francis Jones; grandfather Ralph James Powell; grandmother Telitha Ann Powell; and Aunt Joanna Lee Heiman.
Survivors include his mother Juanita Ellard Jones of Lake Jackson; his 2 sisters Telitha Ann Jones of Austin, Juanita Johnson and husband Jay Johnson of Lake Jackson; 2 uncles Christopher Shawn Heiman of Lake Jackson; John and Phyllis Ellard of Seadrift, TX; nieces and nephews Brian and Heather Jackson of Austin, Tommie Lee Jones of Austin, Brittany Nicole Jones and Consuelo Perez of Webster, Joanna Marie Caldwell of Lake Jackson, Jarrell Johnson of Lake Jackson; and one great-nephew Trae Jordan Jackson of Austin.
