Briggs Griffin Welch

Briggs "Briggsy" Welch was born on August 13, 2015 in Houston, TX. Briggsy scored the ultimate touchdown as he entered God's Heavenly end zone on August 28, 2017. Briggs, born to daddy Brian Scott Welch and mommy Katelyn Denise Welch of Lake Jackson, TX; was a determined, tenacious, handsome, and curious little boy. His smile lit up the room and his giggle would brighten your day and warm your heart. Briggs loved to wrestle and play football with his two big brothers, Brandon Scott Welch and Braxton James Welch of Lake Jackson, TX. Like any little boy, Briggs loved to climb, run, play outside, eat fruit snacks, and line up his trucks while watching Moana or Trolls.

Briggs is survived by many he touched in his short two years of life. His "Doo-Dad" and "Grammy", Murray and Hope Griffin of Lake Jackson, TX. "Papa" and "Grandmother" Harold and Betty Welch of Helena, OK. Uncle and Aunt Murray and Cheryl Griffin, and Uncle Brent Griffin, all of Lake Jackson, TX, and Uncle and Aunt Todd and Linda Welch of Enid, OK. Briggs served as a feisty playmate for several cousins; Mark Todd Welch, Carson Griffin, Henley Griffin, and Finn Griffin. Briggsy will also be greatly missed by his best buddy, Gary Gregory of Lake Jackson, TX. The Griffin and Welch extended families as well as many close friends and sports team families will miss his silly personality, contagious giggle, handsome face, and adorable smile.

Play all the football, baseball, and trucks with Jesus and the Angels sweet boy, we will all miss you so, but look forward to seeing you again and spending eternity with your sweet, loving soul.

Visitation will occur on Friday September 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm.
