

Donald Charles Ringhausen was born is St. Louis, Missouri on April 4th, 1946, and went fishing with the Lord on July 29th, 2021. He attended the University of Missouri at Columba to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He moved to the Brazosport area in 1970 to pursue his career at Dow Chemical. He retired after 31 years, only to return through Kelly Services for another 15. Completing a total of 46 years at the Dow Chemical facilities. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Brazoria, Texas for 43 years.
Don was an avid fisherman and hunter; he enjoyed sharing these experiences with his children and grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Art and Helen Ringhausen; sister, Connie Ringhausen; In-laws, Collin and Mary Pruckett.
Don is survived by his wife and best friend of 36 years Carol Ann Ringhausen; children, Roger Ringhausen, Ronald (Angie) Ringhausen, Donald (Marion) Ringhausen, Seth England and his girlfriend Sylvia; grandchildren, Alyssa Baker, Christina (Blake) Carter, Bradley Ringhausen, Stephanie Ringhausen, Jacob Ringhausen, and Donny Ringhausen; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth “Gracie” Ringhausen and Avery Leigh Carter.
Serving as Pallbearers will be, Jacob Ringhausen, Blake Carter, Red Carrol, Donny Finley, Wayne Price, and John Paul Guana. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Ronnie Coleman, Gar Berkett, and Bob Fox.
The Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, Texas from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Followed by a Rosary from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
The Funeral will be officiated by Father Tin Phan on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Brazoria, Texas. Following the service, a celebration to remember all the wonderful memories made with Don will be had over lunch at the Ringhausen Residence (7 C.R. 335, Brazoria, Texas)
