Kenneth Edward Chaplin, 68, of Lake Jackson, TX, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 2, 2016. Ken was born on December 30, 1947 to Charles and Adda Chaplin in Freeport, TX, at the old Dow Hospital. Ken married the love of his life Michael Ann Gresham in Palacios, TX, on September 3, 1968.
Ken loved camping and the outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his amazing family, friends, and his grandchildren.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Michael Ann Chaplin; his daughters, Deborah (Nathan) Bond, and Kristie (Joe) Moseley; his grandsons, Dustin (Kaytlyn) Menzies, and Cody Menzies; his great-grandsons, Nathaniel and Gabriel Menzies; brother Jerry (Connie) Chaplin; Ken is further survived by many other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home Friday October 7, 2016 from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm, with the Funeral Service starting at 2:00 pm.
