Laura Joyce Perryman Runnels, age 44, of Ozark, Missouri, formerly of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from a tragic car accident. Laura was born to Howard and Kathleen Gay Perryman on October 15, 1980, in Freeport, Texas.
Laura grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas. From childhood, Laura had a great love for animals, so she always had dogs and cats. She also loved to read in her leisure time. For a while she worked as a hair stylist. Most of her life was spent taking care of her children whom she loved dearly. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother who will be greatly missed, especially by her two young daughters, Chloe age 11, and Zoe, age 10.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Mary Groth, and Glenn and Betty Jones; and by her father, Howard Perryman.
She is survived by her son, Vladimir Drake Runnels; her daughters Chloe and Zoe Rodgers; her sister Sue Perryman; and mother, Kathleen Gay Perryman.
A graveside service will be held at Restwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park on June 12, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. Please gather at The Garden of Grace in the cemetery.
