Maria Idalia Vargas

Maria loved gardening, cooking and spending time with Family and Friends. She loved to crochet blankets for her grandkids. One of her favorite holidays was Easter and she always had fun making the confetti eggs! She loved watching Grey's Anatomy, Hallmark movies and she loved to dance! Maria worked for many years at Shipley Donuts where she made numerous friends whom she loved unconditionally. If you ever needed anything she was always willing to lend a hand and help in any way she could.

Maria is survived by her parents: Guillermo and Mary Gallardo, Children: Nancy Torres Astello, Victoria Torres Belmares, Julie Torres, Vanessa Torres Lopez, Naiely Hernandez and Jose Hernandez, Grandchildren: Jocelyn Ameryse Astello, Omar Astello Jr., Oscar Belmares Jr., Alyna Belmares, Anastacia Cortez, Aaliyah Aparicio, Julius Torres, Jason Piña, Manuel Davila, Ariana Davila, Victor Lopez Jr., Emma Leyva and Kamila Hernandez. Son in Laws: Omar Astello Sr., Oscar Belmares Sr. and Victor Lopez Sr. Siblings: Manuel (Alejandra) Vargas, Raul (Rosalba) Daniel and Marcela (Jesus) Guel along with many family members who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 5 - 8pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10am at Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1038 West Plantation Dr. in Clute, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Jose Hernandez, Omar Astello Sr., Oscar Belmares Sr., Victor Lopez Sr., Jason Piña, and Manuel Davila.
