Mary Ann was born in Huntington, New York on October 14th, 1955 to Howard T Farrell and Helen (Speirs) Farrell and lived most of her life on Long Island, in New York.
She married Martin Chereb of Miller Place, New York on August 15th, 1981 and was blessed in celebrating 39 years of marriage with him. Mary Ann worked as a waitress and eventually left that job to be a homemaker in raising her three daughters, Kristen, Heather and Elizabeth. She celebrated the marriage of her eldest daughter to Paul Klimek in 2011 and saw the birth of her first granddaughter Audrey in 2015.
Mary Ann, being a woman of strong character with a keen sense of wit and a wonderful sense of humor, was an inspiring wife, loving mother and encourager to all who knew her. She served side by side with her husband in church ministries having a strong love for the Lord and her church family.
In 2017, the Chereb family, following their youngest daughter Elizabeth who had moved to Texas in 2012, left New York and both Martin and Mary Ann took up residence in Angleton Texas. Mary Ann, along with her husband fell in love with Texas and over the next couple of years, would see the birth of yet another granddaughter Victoria also by Kristen and would celebrate the wedding of her daughter Heather to Brendan Griffith in 2020.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband Martin, daughters Kristen, Heather and Elizabeth, granddaughters Audrey and Victoria, and four younger brothers, Buzz, Tim, Chris and Tommy.
