She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gene Hughes; her parents and two brothers.
She is survived by her children, Billy Hughes & wife, Heather of Clear Lake; Pam Jurries & husband, Garry of Angleton; three grandchildren, Todd Hughes & wife, Tiffany; Katie Jurries & Sadie Hughes; two great-grandchildren, Austin & Haley Hughes; two nieces, Frances Cooley, Cathy MacGregor & many great-nieces & great-nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Country Village and the wonderful hospice nurse for the care and concern they gave Mary.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Dignity Restwood Funeral Home.
