Rosaura Escobedo, 73, of Richwood, passed away October 14, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 21, at Restwood Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restwood Memorial Park.
Rosaura was born April 10, 1940 in Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jesus and Monserate Velez. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by numerous family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leopoldo Escobedo.
Survivors include her daughters Teodora Mendoza, Maria Ramos and husband Anacleto, Cynthia Escobedo, Martha Escobedo, Rosaura Escobedo and husband Oscar; sons Fernando Escobedo and wife Yazmin, Juan Escobedo and Reynaldo Escobedo; brother Jesus Maria Velez; sisters Nasaria Velez Coronado and husband Martin, Herminia Bali, Dolores Escobedo and husband Juan; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
