Sherrell Addison Hester

Sherrell was born on May 2, 1945 in Waynesville, MO to parents Albert and Betty Hester.

Sherrell graduated from Brazosport High School in 1963. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the Air Force, where he spent the next 20 years, retiring in 1983 as a Master Sergeant. He would continue on with his service to our country, and spend another 19 years in U.S. Civil Service before retiring in 2005. With all his travels, he moved back to his home state of Texas in 2009 to be around his kids and grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Albert Hester of Crockett, TX.

Sherrell is survived by his children; Son, Timothy Hester and wife, Julie of Brazoria, TX; Son, Troy Hester of La Grange, KY; Son, Sean Hester and wife, Traci of Groves, TX; Daughter, Stacie Dull and husband, Chad of Lake Jackson, TX; Sister, Diann Parker of Richwood, TX; and Mother, Betty Hester of Crockett, TX. Along with 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Closed casket visitation (and a light reception) will be held on Thursday, August 18 from 6-8PM. Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 19 at 10AM. All services will be held at Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 W. Plantation Dr, Clute, TX 77531.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are requested to make donations to Helping Hands & Hearts Hospice in Lake Jackson, TX.
