Suse (Cruz) Ramirez

Suse Ramirez, age 69, of Richwood died Monday, January 16, 2012 at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She was a lifelong resident and parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Clute. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo (Toncho) Ramirez; parents, Constancio and Tomasa Cruz and a sister, Mary Helen Cruz. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Ramirez of Richwood, Texas, Dorothy Zavala and her husband Adrian of Richwood, Texas, Esther Ramirez of Converse, Texas, Mona Ramirez and her fiancé David Gibson of Richwood, Texas, Elena Coignet and her husband, James of Cibolo, Texas; grandchildren, Adrian Jr. and Alicia Zavala, Derrick and Devvon Miles, Able, Isabelle and Sophia Coignet; great grandchildren, Abbagail and Adrianna Zavala; sisters, Eva Santos of Richwood, Texas, Ophilia Martinez and her husband George of Richwood, Texas and brother, David Cruz and his wife Sulema of Liberty Hill, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Restwood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 20, 2012 at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Clute with Father Jim Lynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Park in Clute with Derrick Miles, Devvon Miles, Adrian Zavala, Jr., Jesse Alvarado, Jr., Joe Alvarado and Martin Martinez serving as pallbearers.
