William “Bill” Gresham Baskin, 83, of Lake Jackson TX entered Heavens Gates on September 9th 2016. Bill was born on July 14 1933 to James & Ruth Baskin in Cameron, TX. Bill married Margaret Williams in San Marcos TX in March 26 1959.
Bill spent more than 30 years as a Counselor at Clute Intermediate. He was a Deacon at 1st Baptist Church of Lake Jackson for 27 years, and was a member of Rotary International for more than 40 years. He served as a Medic during his tenure in the Army.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margaret, brothers James Dollar Baskin Jr and Pat McKinney Baskin. Bill is survived by his daughter Beth (husband Jim) Hill, and grandchildren Kathryn and Alex Hill.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Brazos Pointe Fellowship of Lake Jackson on Saturday September 17 2016; with visitation beginning at 12n and funeral services starting at 2pm.
Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
